A programme review for Haringey Council

What we did

LB Haringey was running an ambitious development programme of 1,000 homes on its own land, across numerous sites. We were asked to undertake a ‘critical friend’ role, looking at all aspects of the programme and summarising how pace, price and process might be improved in order to enhance delivery. We undertook the following work:

  • Undertaking face to face discussions across departments including development, planning, finance and procurement

  • Reviewing the pipeline and programme including progress and risks

  • Reviewing documents and processes used by the development team

  • Participating in ‘sprint’ workshops

  • Providing a clear action plan after four weeks

Claire’s assurance and advice was enormously helpful to us at a critical stage of our programme. She combined her rich experience of social housing development with a real sensitivity and responsiveness to our specific political and organisational environment
